Boby (Pumby #1139, 1975)

Francisco Sifre Pardo was a Spanish artist who published in publishing house Valenciana's Jaimito and Pumby magazines from late in the 1950s to the early 1980s. For Jaimito he created, among others 'El Dire Cocomascope', 'Pedrusco', 'Jipy', 'Pepote', 'La familia Ki-Ki-Ri-Ki' and 'Nicanor'.

For Pumby, he created the little boy 'Peluca', the blue puppy 'Boby' and 'El Pequeño Sheriff'. He also illustrated game pages. Sifre was one of the Valenciana artists who also worked for Bruguera in the 1970s and 1980s. For Bruguera he created such characters as the pedlar 'Aceituno Cargante' and 'Alí, el Genio de la Lámpara'.
