Pequeño Pantera Negra, by Jesus Herrero Pampliega

Jesús Herrero Pampliega is a Spanish comic artist and illustrator. He began his career in the 1950s designing ceramics and doing advertising art. He was active as a comic artist between 1960 and 1964. He succeeded Martin Salvador as the artist of 'Mendoza Colt' in 1960 (Editorial Rollan), illustrating 12 further issues. In 1961 he was assigned by Bruguera to illustrate three titles in the collection Sissi. In that same year, he replaced Miguel Quesada as the artist of 'Pequeño Pantera Negra' at Editorial Maga in Valencia, for which he did the art of 138 issues. Herrero then focused on book illustration.
