The Dutch comic artist Willem Vleeschouwer opened a new art exhibition at Galerie Lambiek on 15 June 2001. Vleeschouwer presented his newest creation, a hilarious and expertly drawn football comic, with the intriguing title 'Stront aan de Knikker' ('The Shit Hits the Fan'). All the original pages of this comic gem were on exhibit at Lambiek, as well as a selection of Vleeschouwer's finest color work. Some originals wer for sale on our Vleeschouwer virtual exhibition. The originals of 'Stront aan de Knikker' was on display in Galerie Lambiek until the 11th of August 2001. |
