On 15 June 2001 a new exhibition opened at Galerie Lambiek. The Dutch comic artist Willem Vleeschouwer presented his newest creation, a hilarious and expertly drawn football comic, with the intriguing title 'Stront aan de Knikker' ('The Shit Hits the Fan'). All the original pages of this comic gem were on exhibition at Lambiek, as well as a selection of Vleeschouwer's finest color work. Part of it is now for sale on Willem Vleeschouwer's virtual exhibition.'Stront aan de Knikker' was on display in Galerie Lambiek until the 11th of August 2001.
