Lambiek moves to a bigger store!

Continuation on Kerkstraat guaranteed!

Dear Lambiek friends,

After spending almost a year in a tiny little place on Kerkstraat 119, we finally found a great new location at Kerkstraat 132. Its nearly as big as the old store at Kerkstraat 78, and it's just down the street on the same block. We plan to open there around 15 December 2004.

Kees Kousemaker, the owner of the shop, is gradually retiring from the store to put more of his energy into the Lambiek website and the Comiclopedia. Bas van der Zee is helping to run the store until his eldest son, Boris, can come to the rescue in the coming months.

Of course Kees will still be involved since the editorial office of the website and the store will be in one place. He will still be around for advice and authority in the comic field, but he wants to take a break after 36 years of running Lambiek.

We are ready for a new start and we will try to make Lambiek even more exciting than it was. We will organize expositions like we did before, and fill the space again with wonderful publications from all corners of the earth.

In our next issue we will inform you about new book editions we recommend and shows we are planning. But first we're gonna move all the books to Kerkstraat 132.
