The versatile dutch artist Wasco opened his new exposition, 'Cut-out Shapes, Secondhand Daylight', in Galerie Lambiek on Friday, 5 March 2010 at 5:00 PM in a cozy setting. With his self-published books, Wasco has created a colourful oeuvre, and gathered a large and loyal following since the eighties. He is a regular contributor to comic magazine Zone 5300, and each year he participates in the 24 Hour Comics Day event at Lambiek. Wasco strongly believes in affordable art, so he makes pieces of art to fit every budget. |
