On Sunday, 2 October 2005, from 4:00 to 7:00 pm, the new 'stripjes' book of Maaike Hartjes, one of Holland's first comic diary artists was presented at Lambiek, to a packed house.

Maaike autographed many copies of her new book
and exhibited some of her paintings and other art.

Many happy faces were in attendance, to see some of Maaike's recent artwork on display, and to toast their congratulations for her new collection of comic strips, published in Holland by Oog & Blik.
