Yun Seung-un was a pupil of Kil Chang-deok, just like Shin Mun-su. However his style is much more flexible then his master's. Yun Seung-un uses visual exaggeration by enlarging the heads of his characters and reducing their bodies to the minimum. He made his debut with 'A Charitable Old Man' in Arirang magazine, followed by 'Kolji and Hansimi' in Manhwawangguk magazine. His heroes are usually turbulent kids, explorers or kings of invention. His most famous works are 'Dusimi and Yocheol' and the 'Maengkongi Seodang' series.
