Akimi Yoshida is a Japanese mangaka known for the New York drug thriller 'Banana Fish'. This serial ran from 1985 to 1994 and spawned several spin-off miniseries, such as 'Private Opinion', 'Angel Eyes' and 'The Garden with Holy Light'. 'Bananafish' is published in Japan by Shogakukan, and in the US by VIZ Media. |
