Bruce Walthers was an artist of the Milwaukee underground comix scene. He was an early member of the Krupp Comics/Kitchen Sink group, together with Denis Kitchen, Jim Mitchell, Don Glassford and Wendel Pugh. In the early 1970s, he regularly created weekly strips for the alternate paper The Bugle-American, which were subsequently syndicated to other underground newspapers and college papers via the Krupp Syndicate. In 1972, he drew O.K. Comix at Kitchen Sink Press. |
