Valérie Vernay

Born in the area of Lyon, Valérie Vernay studied illustration at the École Emile Cohl. After her graduation, she made her first children's book, 'Le Gardien de la Nuit', at the publishing house Petit à Petit. She then ventured into the field of comics, contributing to several collective projects and doing the coloring of 'Sexy Gun'. She eventually made a comic adaptation of 'La Guerre des Boutons', also for Petit à Petit. She does illustrations for children's books and makes the comic series 'Agathe Saugrenu' with Vincent Zabus for Dupuis.
