Roel Venderbosch is a Dutch illustrator and graphic designer. He graduated from the Academy of Art and Design in Den Bosch in 1992 and has worked independently since 1996. He has done designs for record covers and merchandise for musicians like Daniël Lohues, Skik, Frank Boeijen and Laura Fygi.

In 1998, he began the educational comic 'Prof. Oja-Aha' for the children's magazine Taptoe, which was continued until 2009. Since 2006 he works as cartoonist and illustrator for nrc.next, as well as other papers.
