'Eddie's Complex' (The Previous Future #1, 1981).

Mort Todd is an American comic creator and animator. In the early 1980s, he was drawing for alternative comic books like The Previous Future, also featuring the work of Daniel Clowes. He was the editor-in-chief of Cracked magazine until 2005, and among his most notable achievements was hiring Don Martin away from Mad to join the Cracked team. He has also worked with bands like Rolling Stones, Kiss and AC/DC on comic books for the Marvel Music line. He also edited Free Comics, a comic newspaper distributed in New York City, and drew the mini-series 'Protoplasman' for Big Bang Comics.

Todd adapted the novel 'The Screaming Mimi' by Fredric Brown to a graphic novel and screenplay, and worked as an animator with MTV, Disney and CBS. For the media company Comicfix, he worked on licensed properties for publishing, film and television. In addition, he has created 'Bat Lady', 'Molly the Model' and 'The Uggly Family', the latter with Daniel Clowes. In 2001, he drew a daily newspaper comic based on Tatsuo Yoshida's popular manga and anime series 'Mach Go Go Go' ('Speed Racer').
