Olivier TaDuc, a Frenchman with Vietnamese origins, canceled his studies in medicine to pursue an artistic career. He met scriptwriter Dieter, with whom he created some short stories for the magazine Triolo ('La Forêt de Nouhaud'). He began a studio with Thierry Robin and Pierre-Yves Gabrion. He continued his collaboration with Dieter at the publishing house Glénat with the historical saga 'Sark'.
