Diógenes Taborda was one of the most famous Argentine cartoonists of his time. Publishing under the name El Mono, which means "The Monkey", Taborda's art nouveau cartoons appeared primarily in the Crítica newspaper. He was the teacher of famous comics artist Dante Quinterno and of well-known theater and cinema actor García Ramos. |
