After succeeding in his education of interior decorating, Stanislas started to make comics. After some publications in Recto-Verso, his name appeared in Jean-Christophe Menu's fanzine Le Lynx. Next, Futuropolis published two albums of his work: 'La Grande Course' and 'Le Pigeon'.

While working for Tintin Reporter, Stanislas co-founded l'Association, and his work appeared in 1992 in Lapin. In the late eighties, he associated himself with Laurent Rullier and together they started the series 'Victor Levallois'. Stanislas was also one of the authors of the biography in comics form of Hergé.
