In the late eighties, he associated himself with Laurent Rullier and together they started the series 'Victor Levallois', of which albums were published by Alpen. While working for Tintin Reporter, Stanislas co-founded l'Association in 1990, together with Jean-Christophe Menu, Lewis Trondheim, David B., Mattt Konture, Patrice Killoffer and Mokeït. His work was then published in this association's magazine Lapin and several anthologies in the collection Patte de Mouche.
Stanislas was also one of the authors of the biography in comics form of Hergé, called 'Les aventures d'Hergé' and published by Reporter in 2001. With the same company he published 'Le Savant Fou' in 2001. He also illustrated a volume in the series 'Donjon Monsters' by Lewis Trondheim and Joann Sfar. Stanislas left L'Association in 2006 and became an illustrator for publications like Astrapi, Je Bouquine and J'aime lire.
