Sergei is the signature of Paulo Teixeira, a comic artist and illustrator from Lisbon. He began his career at the age of 16, working for newspapers and magazines like Diário de Notícias, Jornal de Letras and Moto-Jornal. He is the author of the 'Os Compadres' comic strip, that runs in several papers. The first book collection of the strip was published by Editora Polvo in 2006. Sergei also developed 'Tio Pelicias', the mascot of the Montepio Geral bank.
