Pierpaolo Rovero was born in Turin, where he also lives and works as an artist and scriptwriter. After completing his scientific studies in 1993, he attended the Disney Academy in Milan. After his studies, he entered the comics field under the guidance of Giorgio Cavazzano. Rovero had already done some illustration work, and he cooperated with the Disney magazine Topolino since 1996. In 2001, he illustrated 'Bandeko Africa' at COE-CELIM in Milan. He cooperated with Pixar on the comics adaptation of 'Monsters & Co'. In 2002, he illustrated 'Willy e Peo' at Scienza, and did the graphic novel 'The Paris Match' in France.
