Carlos Roose Silva

Carlos Roose Silva was born in Trujillo, but moved to Lima at the age of 7. He began his career at the age of 17 in La Tribuna. He founded the magazine Tacu Tacu in 1949, as well as Patita in 1954 and Jarano in 1969. Since the 1970s, Roose, who signs with Crose, has created a great many characters for the newspapers Correo and Ojo, including 'Pachochin, el Chupatintas' and 'Don Potencio'.
