Travis, by Christophe Quet
Christophe Quet began his studies in interior decorating, then switched to a study of literature, with a focus on cinema. Although he didn't complete his studies, he started doing illustrations for scout magazines. Quet wasn't interested in drawing for children; he was more attracted to an American comic style of drawing. So he sent some of his work to the monthly magazine Casus Belli, where he was noticed by Vatine and Blanchard. Soon, he got the chance to start his series 'Travis', for which he collaborated with scenarist Fred Duval. The knowledge that Quet acquired during his formal studies allows him to create a cinematographic rhythm in his stories.
