'Wolfram'.
Although Éric Puech was educated as an industrial draftsman at the Camélias School in Paris, he eventually chose the comics profession. While making illustrations for Les Nouvelles Littéraires, he created his first comic 'Truckstop' in France-Routiers. From 1986 on, he became one of the main artists for USA Magazine, where he created numerous short stories. These stories were collected by Comics USA-Glénat in albums like 'La Ballade de Johnny', 'Joe Breakdown', 'Wolfram' and 'Traces de Pneus'.
'L'Immortele'.
In 1992, Puech created his first long story, 'Alicia', also for Glénat. Between 1993 and 1998 he made the double comic page 'Les Impitoyables' for Sono Magazine. In 2001, Puech started the series 'L'Immortele' for Albin Michel. At the same publishing house, he also took over the artwork of the series 'Exit' from Alain Mounier (scripts by Bernard Weber).
In 2024, Puech was involved in a car accident. On top of his injuries, he also coped with an incurable heart disease to which he succombed in late November 2025.
