T. E. Powers was an early American newspaper comic artists. He drew for the papers of newspaper tycoon William Randolph Hearst, and was one of his favorite artists, although to others Powers was only a mediocre artist who used a bland kind of slapstick humor. He drew 'Our Moving Pictures' around 1910, and later created 'Mike and Mike'. He also drew a comment on fellow artist George Herriman, speculating on how he invented the famous 'Krazy Kat' comic. T.E. Powres also did political illustrations for the Political Round-Up column in Hearst's Magazine, July - Dec 1913.
