José María Ortiz is a comic arist from Valencia. In the 1950s, he drew 'Roy Clark' in Comandos (Ed. Valenciana), and contributed to Fanvencia collections like 'Aventuras de Guerra' and 'Historias de Guerra'. Together with writer Pedro Muñoz he contributed to the Grafidea collections 'Cuatro Capitanes' and 'Jarko, el Temible'. As an agency artist, he has worked on French series like 'Cinq As', 'Marino' (in Zembla), 'Scotland Yard', 'Tenax' and 'Super Boy'
José Ortiz Tafalla was the artist of the 'Los Trotamundos' comic, which he made with scriptwriter Eugenio Sotillos for agency Interpubli. The series featured four traveling teenagers (three boys and a girl) whose adventures happened in different countries. A Spanish edition was published in 1985.
