IJsbrand Oost

IJsbrand Oost is a Dutch application manager, who works as a comic artist and illustrator on the side. In the mid 1990s, he made a comic strip for Wartaal, the magazine of Het Stripschap. He then made a comic about a TV reporter in the magazine Afslag Noord, as well as several strips and illustrations for the town of Groningen. Oost is inspired by the Clear Line style of Henk Kuijpers, which can be seen in his adventure strip 'Max Miller', which first appeared in Eppo in 2009.
