Mangaka Oh! Great is probably best known for 'Tenjho Tenge', his first mainstream series that runs in Ultra Jump and is also published in the USA through DC's CMX imprint. He debuted with 'September Kiss' and also created the hentai (pornographic) mangas 'Engine Room' and 'Five' (A.K.A.. 'Silky Whip', serialized on Hot Milk) and the skating manga 'Air Gear' (in Shounen Magazine).

Oh! Great is the author of the manga of 'Legend of Himiko', released as an anime series and PlayStation game at the same time. He took his pseudonym from the pronunciation of his Japanese name, Ogure Ito.
