No Su-hyeon was one of the earliest Korean comics artists. He created his 'Meongteonguri heotmulkyeogi' series ('The Vain Efforts of an Idiot') for the Chosun Ilbo daily in 1924. This was the first Korean comic that contained conventional comic properties, such as text balloons. |
