Metin Üstündağ is a Turkish cartoonist and comic artist, who is especially popular among younger readers. He was a pupil of Oguz Aral, and has contributed to such magazines as Gırgır, Leman, Hayvan and Penguen. Most of his work deals with the relationships between men and women. In 2002, he had to appear before the Penal Court in Istanbul on the charge of his cartoons being "against the common moral" in his comic book 'Sunday Lovers'. His main characters are 'Oris ile Vonti', Mansur Sebboy', 'Imgehan Lirikboy', 'Istos', 'Pazar Sevisgenleri', 'Mevzusuzlar', 'Albert Kamu Vicdani', and 'Imam ile Adam'.
