After a career in music, Richard McGuire applied himself to illustration and design. His strip 'Here' appeared in Raw. He divides his talents between such media as the Internet, children's books and newspapers. He contributed to Françoise Mouly and Art Spiegelman's 'Little Lit', namely 'Little Lit: Strange Stories for Strange Kids' (2001).
