Jaime Martin

Jaime Martin is one of the best storytellers and most important chroniclers of everyday life in contemporary comics. He began his career in the mid 1980s drawing for both children's and adult publications like Caníbal, Bichos, Pulgarcito and Humor a Tope.

His career took off when his work 'Sangre de Barrio' won him the prize for the Best New Artist at the 8th International Comic Fair in Barcelona. Since 1987, he is a frequent collaborator of El Vibora, in which his serials 'La Memoria Oscura' (1995), 'Infierno' (1996) and 'Los primos del Parque' were published. He has also published in Germany, Italy, U.S.A. and France.
