Jaime Martin is one of the best storytellers and most important chroniclers of everyday life in contemporary comics. He was born in 'Hospitalet de Llobregat' in Barcelona. His career took off when his work 'Sangre de Barrio' won him the prize for the Best New Artist at the 8th International Comic Fair in Barcelona. He is a frequent collaborator in El Vibora, in which his 'La Memoria Oscura' (1995), 'Infierno' (1996) and 'Los primos del Parque' went straight into color. He has also published in Germany, Italy, U.S.A. and France.
