Cecco Mariniello

Cecco Mariniello was born in Siena in 1950. Painter of comic operas and fantasy landscapes, he has worked as an illustrator since the 1970s. He published his work in several magazines in Italy and France (Il Mago, La Repubblica, La Stampa, Le Monde ) and he became one of the best known Italian illustrators of children's books. He worked for most of the Italian publishers of children's publications (Elle, Rizzoli, Mondadori, Salani, etc.) and for many others in the UK, France, USA and Taiwan.
