Juanan Marco was born in Valencia, Spain in 1976. While studying art, he created his own fanzine, Zombie Putrefacto, where he published comics like 'El Monstruador', 'Ernesto', 'Baman' and 'El Niño Coñazo'. His most popular creation was 'Carolina, psicópata asesina', a comic filled with absurd and ironic black humor. His work has also appeared in fanzines such as Malo Malone, Axila, El Pétalo Ácido and Pus y Sentimientos. Since 2000, he works as a graphic artist for newspaper El Mundo. Juanan Marco has also worked as an animator, creating the short movie 'Pingüino y Pingüina: Pingüino quiere ser papá', and co-founded the group Animaticos.
