Born in Lerida, Spain, the artist and journalist Alfons López has been active in comics since the late 1970's. Some of his most important series have been 'Atasco Star' (in collaboration with Rafel Vaquer), 'Acción Directa' and 'Pepa'. López has worked for numerous publications in Europe, among them the Spanish TBO, Rambla and Cimoc; the French Fluide Glacial, the Italian Totem Comic, and the German U-Comix. |

He's also a promoting member of the Comics Salon in Barcelona, as well as director of Angelitos Negros magazine. Lately, he has published La Saga de Chavez (2004), an album published by Ediciones Glenat with texts by Manuel Fontdevila. |
