Lee Kang-joo is one the key female artists of present-day Korean comics. She learned the profession from fellow female artists Hwang Mi-na and Kim Hye-rin from 1985. She made her debut in 1989 with 'Dangerous Friends'. Other comics she created are 'Singing Canary', 'Leo Leo', 'Seventeen Rock' and 'For Kanagaroo'. |
