Les Aventures du Capitaine Nicolas Bonhomme

Gui Laflamme is a Canadian comic artist. He was born in Saint-Hyacinthe, and eventually settled in Montréal. He studied at the School of Fine Arts, and published his first works in L'Oratoire, in cooperation with Fathers Emile Legault and Bernard Muchland. He worked as a portrait artist during World War II. He began his detective comic 'Guy Benoit' in Le Samedi in the 1950s.

In the 1970s, Laflamme has drawn for 'Les Aventures du Capitaine Nicolas Bonhomme', the comic books based on the television show (Éditions Héritage). He also worked for Le Grand Journal Illustré, making among others a comic about Elvis in 1977.
