Shosuke Kurogane was the author of the popular girl's manga 'Anmitsu-hime' ('Princess Beanjam'), that appeared in Shojo magazine between 1949 and 1955. Although being a male artist, Kurogane knew how to reach his female readership with this sweet comic about a medieval princess, that caused the magazines sales to lift the magazine's sales to 700,000 copies. |
