The self-taught comic artist Daniel Koller was introduced to J-P Mougin by the Swiss artist Ab'Aigre in the 1980s. Koller was asked by Mougin to make some short comics for the magazine A Suivre, which he did at first under the pseudonym Bader K., and later under his own name. Koller's first album, which was the first in the series 'Les Tribulations de Luc Lafontaine', was published by Casterman in 1999. In 2003, he teamed up with Stephen Desberg to create the science-fiction series 'Mayam' at Dargaud.
