Kim Hye-rin was born in Korea in 1962. She made her debut in comics in 1983, and created titles such as 'Bukhaeeubyeol' ('Star of the North Sea'), 'Bicheonmu', 'Termidor' and 'Sword of Fire'. In her work, she always tries to connect man and history. 'Bukhaeeubyeol', about a revolution in the imaginary empire of Bodnia, stood as a symbol of hope for the students of the pessimistic 1980s. |
