Keko made his debut with some short stories in magazine Madriz, then in the Spanish Metal Hurlant. In 1986, he published the book 'La Isla de los Perros'.

Keko has collaborated with Mique Beltrán on 'Livingston contra Fumake' in 1987, and with Ramón de España on 'Brendan Beckett: El Amor Duele'. In the early 2000s, he made his comeback with the award-winning album 'Cuatro Botas'.
