Javier Muñoz, who signs Javierre, began his career by self-publishing 'Las Aventuras del Hombre Mosca'. In the early 1990s, he participated in the fanzine A la Calle in his hometown Vallekas. He later published his own fanzine, called Sopas de Ajo. He is also a regular contributor to Cretino. He works for TMEO since 1996, introducing his characters 'Los Vallekurros'.
