Born in Quantico, Virginia, Geof Isherwood and his family settled permanently in Montreal, Quebec in 1971. At age 17, he won a scholarship at the Banff School of Fine Arts in Alberta, Canada. He drew his first strip for the school newspaper, called 'Bloodwolf'. In 1982 he got his Fine Arts degree at Montreal's Concordia University, and soon thereafter went to work for Marvel Comics, where he drew 'Dr. Strange', 'Namor', and 'Spider-Man'. He is also present at DC, where he did 'Suicide Squad', as well as his 1997 solo debut comic 'Lincoln-16'.
