Roy of the Rovers, by Yvonne Hutton (Tiger, 1972)
'Roy Of The Rovers'.

Yvonne Hutton (born Mullins) started drawing 'Roy of Rovers' through Colin Page's studio in the 1967-75 period. She drew the strip prior to David Sque and when it appeared in the Tiger comic at the same time as it appeared in the Roy of the Rovers comic (1976-1978). She also drew 'Durrell's Palace' (1981-1985) for the magazine. Yvonne was the first artist to draw the 'Roy of the Rovers' story when it appeared in the Daily Star Newspaper.

In December 1991, Hutton became victim of a car accident. She survived, but was so badly wounded that she only lived for three months extra before eventually passing away in March 1992 at the age of only 50.
