Ivan Manuppelli, also known asa Hurricane Ivan, is an Italian illustrator, musician and cartoonist. Strongly inspired by the American underground comix scene, he has animated the Italian indie scene founding the magazine The Artist (2001) and it's successor PUCK! (2009).
For Italian magazine Frigidaire, he created the comic book series 'The New Partisans', about the adventures of a group of terrorists octogenarians. Among his other creations are the animated series 'Aztrokitifk & Mario', the autobiographical serie 'Groove' and 'Stanley the Jackal'. His works have been published in: Mineshaft, My Way, Frigidaire, Lamette, PUCK! and Rolling Stone.
