'Angel Heart'. French-language version.
Tsukasa Hôjo was born in 1959 in Kita-Kyushu. In 1978, his manga 'Space Angel' won him the grand Tezuka prize. His follow-up manga, 'Ore wa Otoko da', appeared in 1980, and a year later came 'Cat's Eye'. In 1983, he wrote the first two stories of the 'City Hunter' saga, but the series was only published from 1985 to 1991 on, in 35 books. In addition to 'City Hunter', Hôjo made short stories, like 'Splash' and 'Taxi Driver'. Afterwards, he experimented in several genres with mangas like 'Rash', 'Sakura no Hanasaki kukoro', 'Beneath the Dappled Shade' ('Komorebi no Moto de...') and 'Parrot - The Blessed Man' ('Parrot - Koufuku no Hito' ). He then began the serial 'Angel Heart'.
