Fred de Heij

Fred de Heij studied at the Rietveld art academy, where he graduated in 1983. He works as a full-time illustrator. Since 1990, he has published several comics in magazines such as Tina (the gag strip 'Fanny'), Incognito, Taptoe and Penthouse Comix. He self-published 'Filo', a bizarre comic centered around a violent clown, full of malice and eroticism, which was strongly influenced by erotic artist Milo Manara.
