After his studies in Applied Arts in Copenhagen, Karsten Hansen started working for Winther publishers as a layout artist and studio manager. It was this publisher who pulished his first comic, '48 Sider' in 1981. Karsten Hansen found his own personal, satirical style in his third album, 'Stille og roligt' ('Easy Does It'). He started his daily comic 'Minced Eighties' in magazine B.T. in 1989, which changed its title to 'Minced Nineties' in 1990. Since 1992, Karsten Hansen has contributed to the annual Danish satire comics book 'Svikmøllen'.
