Gürcan Gürsel

Gürcan Gürsel was born in Turhal, Turkey in 1959. He started his studies in graphic art at the Academy of Fine Arts in Istanbul in 1977. His comics have been published in several Turkish newspapers and comics magazines, most notably Gırgır. He moved to Belgium in 1988, where he began to work for publisher De Boemerang.

He contributed to the magazines Rooie Oortjes and Aktueel and has done erotic gag pages, as well as the sports comic 'The Champions' and the strip about the cat 'Artie'. His erotic nurse's comic 'Petra Borst' (scripts Aryan Börger) also appeared in Aktueel. He also also published many erotic strips in the French language through P&T Productions.
