Harry Cornell Greening

Harry Cornell Greening was a newspapers artist whose cartoons appeared in newspapers like the Philadelphia Press, The New York Journal and the New York Herald. He was the creator of features like 'Si Swapper' (1902), 'Uncle George Washington Bings' (1907), 'The Woo Woo Bird (1909) and 'Percy - Brans He Has Nix' (1912-1913). By the 1920's Greening had settled in Los Angeles where he created the cartoon 'Prince Errant' for the Illustrated Daily News.
