Oliviero Gramaccioni cancelled his architecture studies to join the Mangiarano graphic studios. In 1977, he created the character 'Syd Warmur' in the fanzine Comic Art. After a brief appearance in Lanciostory, he joined Mangiarano again in 1980, doing several jobs for the publishing house Eura. Later on, Gramaccioni went to work for Intrepido, Mostri and Splatter. In Intrepido, he created the black journalist 'Mara' with scriptwriter Michelangelo La Neve. He is a staff artist of the 'Mister No' series at Bonelli since 1994.
