Maurizio Gradin and Fabio Jacomelli are two Italian artists who draw comics together. They both studied at the School for Advertising Illustration and Comics in Milan. Afterwards, Gradin went to work in the graphics field, while Jacomelli began a career as a free-lancer for several agencies. They started their collective oeuvre in 1993, beginning with 'Doan & C:' and 'Billiband' in Intrepido. In 1995, they illustrated an episode of 'Hammer' at Star Comics. They joined Bonelli publishers the same year, where they began working on 'Legs Weaver' and 'Nathan Never'.
