Antonio Gil-Bao was one of the early Spanish creators for the Danish Disney productions (Gutenberghus and later Egmont). He was among the first artists whose stories got a so-called D-code in stead of the R-code (when Nils Rydahl was the only artist of the Danish production). From 1971 to the early 1990s, Gil-Bao illustrated countless comics with nearly every Disney character. He was associated with the Recreo Studios. In the 1960s, he has drawn for the Spanish 'El Capitán Trueno' series. |
