Paul Gattuso was an artist at the Harry Chesler Shop from 1944, drawing mainly crime stories for Dynamic, Punch and Scoop. A couple of years later, his work was made infamous by Dr. Fredric Wertham, who used Gattuso's work as an example of cruelty in comics for his book 'Seduction of the Innocent'. |
